That song is my song for the night. Im sad, but still very happy to have a certain person in my life. Its time for me to go to bed, or something

no south

So I just got a job to Lifeguard up in Mackinac Island at the Grand Hotel. Im going to be working up to 60 hours a week and getting paid 750 an hour. It should be an awesome summer job. I am able to bring my mums kayak up with me so I am going to paddle hopefully close to every day and stay in somewhat of a good shape.

I am bummed that I am not able to go down south but I have to take what I can get right now. Im working for money so that I can go to Ireland to see a guy (my "boyfriend") that lives over there. My mum is happy that I got a good job and my best friend is working up there at a bar so that should be interesting.

new beginning

So I started this because I watched Evan Garcia make a great web site about big water creekin. I am a newly high school graduate and now I am going out into the world on my own. I am able to start all over with my life and begin a new epic era. I am going to school in Asheville North carolina where I am going to be studying to become a Paramedic.

I am hopeing to keep river kayaking the way that I have been for the last two years. I aspire to be a top female all around paddler in the world and due to some very cool people whom I have met in the last few years I would love to do some expedition kayaking.
